Wheelie arrives in Michigan, direct from Sherie, on Feb. 22nd. He is great company,
and we begin planning for our trip to Daytona Beach for the 2000 Annual Bike Week! On the
road, he loves sitting over the driver's seat, and watching the traffic! While
there, he's invited to sit on the Harley's!
We
watched the big race on Sunday, and soon it was time to head home. Time to rest up!
And then...good news! Doris said Wheelie can take a cruise with me, so we pack
again! Joy and Lizzie sent Wheelie a few items to add to his wardrobe. If he isn't
the most handsome Wheelie!
On the 4th of April, we board two motorcoaches, and head for the Detroit airport. By the
way, Wheelie is not fond of those x-ray machines..but he's a trooper, and we're off to
Miami! Another motorcoach ride to the ship, (and another x-ray machine) and we board
the Jubilee!
Thirteen wonderful days, to relax, walk laps, do aerobics, meet lots of nice
people, eat some fine meals, sunbath, and enjoy the sites and the Panama Canal. Two
of Wheelie's highlights were attending the John Davidson show, and a very cute waitress
who thought he was very special! And he is! Soon it was time to fly
home..and get ready for his next adventure! What a guy...he has been lots of
company!
