I spoke with my sister Cyndi last night. She wanted me to express her gratitude and thanks to you all. I also told her, through our tears, about the many e-mails I have received from people who have visited Austin on his memorial web site. Many have thanked me for allowing them to get a chance to "know" him. Many have also said they have changed the way they view organ donation because of Austin's story. I told her that Austin is touching people's lives even though he is no longer with us physically. I know his spirit will continue to live on, because of the generosity of people like you all, my AOL friends. At the time of the funeral, Cyndi had selected two charities to which friends could make memorial contributions. They were: Life Connections of Northwestern Ohio; and The Ronald McDonald House of Northwest Ohio. She told me yesterday that she would like your contribution to go to the Ronald McDonald House of NW Ohio. I will be writing a letter this weekend and getting the check off to them. I know that this wonderful organization will be putting your donation to very good use. Thank you does not seem an adequate enough word to express what I am feeling this morning. I hope each of you will know that your generous act of kindness and friendship has helped a bit with the mending of some very broken hearts. ~With the Most Sincere Thanks~ History of
